When using the app version of inkarnate, I recently revised an old map to make some alterations (starting a campaign set in the future of that world). Suddenly and seemingly a random, a very key and central mountain range would vanish in response to all sorts of things. Moving, placing, or modifying stamps on the other end of the landmass, hitting undo, adding titles, all while they were totally unselected. Sometimes moving titles would cause a weird visual error where the bounding box of the title would "erase" mountains as it traveled over them. The important note is that they weren't actually
gone
, just turned invisible or something similar, and no amount of modifying them could revert it, it was a purely visual bug that was fixed upon reloading the map (which only had about 250 objects mind you, not a small number, but certainly not a catastrophic amount and nothing compared to many maps I've seen made in inkarnate.) I've never seen such an odd issue in the browser versions and this has only now begun in the app version, maybe I just got lucky until now. In any case, very strange and caused me to have to keep making preservation clones or constantly saving and then reloading every time it happened out of fear that one time it would stop being just an editor bug, which all really dragged down how fast I was able to work.
