On resizing a big map, have field for starting x y and ending x y

When using the resizing map, where you want to break up a large map into seamlessly smaller maps, it would be nice to be able to enter in the starting x y and ending x y point (as an option), instead of manually having to move the grid around to the exact point.
Plus you do not show the x y coordinates you are at so that make it hard to know exactly where you starting and ending point are.
For example, there is a large map of 4,096. I want to break it up into 1024 x 1024. Starting at the top the first one is easy, start at the top left, drag x y to 1024. To do the next one over I do at 1024 x 2048, then drag the left part of the select to the right to get it to the second grid.. then keep doing this, when you get into the middle it becomes a pain. And I am breaking it up into 16 grids, that I am then exporting into a game engine, then re combining them manually to make a seamlessly into the big map. Reason being is the game engine has a 1024 x 1024 limit..
A bonus would be if the resize had an automatic grid chunker, where in a big map, you could say, break it up into 1024 x 1024 chunks, resize and create grid 2 x 2, which would be the second one over, and second one down.. oh the joy it would bring! The crowd goes whoop whoop!
