Feature Requests

With the release of 2.0, mask effect options were removed for battlemaps styles. Many members of the community have voiced they would like to have them returned across social media platforms This could be accomplished by reintroducing the mask layer on launch, or by being able to add a layer with mask effect properties.

Please bring back the old editor, or at least give an option. The new one you created is absolute garbage.

I recently had difficulty making what I thought would be a simple map due to the transparent red cursor color. I was making the map using Parchment World. I had selected a parchment style backdrop and the transparent red cursor was nearly invisible when using the masking tool to try and sculpt rivers in the map. I was using the smaller settings to try and make the map larger to meet my preferences and this was very difficult to do. I wish there was an option for a different color to use at times so that the cursor is not lost when using lighter backgrounds.

Ability to import custom fonts.

Please add the land tool back for top-down maps. It is really nice being able to quickly add water or pits with presets for shadows, ripples, etc.

An Eyedropper tool that lets you select a brush youve already used, like you click on the map where you painted ocean and it automatically assigns you the colour Ocean 3 or whatever you already used.

Make it possible to copy from one map and paste to another, so assets can be replicated exactly as they are from one map to another

A way to see notes in the select tool mode, not to edit them but in order to quickly access them to view the info contained in the note; otherwise, you have to scroll through the list of notes to find the correct one, or you accidentally create a new one when you inevitably forget that you cant click on the actual note object

I would love to be able to adjust colors on any stamp, not just some of them.

With the brush tool now being able to select the range for different options (for example size) I think this could be a nice addition to add to stamps aswell. Select a range for the stamp size which allows for controlled ranomization of the stamps getting placed. Usefull for things like trees where variance helps getting an organic feeling. Could also work for hue if slight color variations are desired.
