Feature Requests

For those of us who don't want to deal with Chromium's issues and complete disregard for privacy, Firefox is the only real option remaining, yet you've dropped support for it. Please reconsider.

Downloadable desktop app version of Inkarnate.

There's a wealth of maps on the site unaccessible from the "Explore" tab, that right now only includes maps approved by the Inkarnate crew. I'd like another tab that searches maps by their title for a greater variety when searching.

Would like the ability to exit editing the map details with the "X" or escape keys similar to what we have with looking at the map preview or opening the details from the map folder. Example of "X" in map preview:

Better support to use the site on mobile devices and tablets such as android or iOS.

Something I love about virtual TTRPG maps (we play in person on a big screen) it's been able to move a table, or change an object on the fly based on a player interaction, if there was a way to use Inkarnate as a simple VTT locally on one screen or at least a way to export interactable props by themselfs, would be super useful, thank you for your amaizing work!

It would be awesome to be able to work on maps with another person at the same time and see it live, so that 2 or more people could be editing while we can also see what someone else is doing. Since me and my friend build maps together, we are constantly just watching the other build and giving suggestions but still are left with one person doing all the work most of the time. Being able to work together would be awesome and really rewarding especially in shared DM styles or just have fun together.

Allow folders to exist within folders, so that we can organize our maps easier

A way to gift a subscription to someone else. Perfect gift for your Dungeon Master around the holidays, or a way to get your friends to try out inkarnate for a month! Or just a way to sponsor your favourite mapmaker, and get them going!

It would be nice to be able to share maps with specific others and let them clone a map only when they have the link.
